Concord City-Wide Community Center

NEW LIFE TO AN OLD SCHOOL

The Concord School District closed the old Dame School at 14 Canterbury Road in 2010 as part of a school consolidation. In order to reuse the building and expand services to area residents, the City renovated the old school into a new City-Wide Community Center in June of 2018.

IMPROVING CITY INFRASTRUCTURE

In order to save money and improve the efficiency of the building, the project utilized a cash rebate from NHSaves for energy efficiency measures including condensing boilers, a water heater, and energy recovery ventilators. The project was completed with assistance from Resilient Buildings Group (RBG), Liberty Utilities, Rise Engineering and Milestone Construction.
