Resilient Buildings Group worked closely with Touloukian Touloukian Inc. to create a conceptual Net Zero Energy and Net Zero Water office complex. Aside from achieving Net Zero energy and water, the building is also is projected to score 98 points in the LEED V4 rating system, making it forecasted to achieve LEED Platinum. 

Located in Salem, New Hampshire, the office park maximizes the natural resources available on the 16 acre site while simultaneously minimizing the building’s overall environmental impact. The building was designed with a high performance envelope which includes continuous exterior insulation and triple glazed windows. The high performing building envelope allowed for the implementation of ground sourced heat pumps to supply all of the building’s projected heating and cooling needs. 

Combining the high performance building envelope with a high efficiency heating and cooling system allowed the onsite solar energy systems to provide 100% of the building’s energy needs.
