Chase graduated in 2016 from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and a certificate from the Renewable and Sustainable Energy Institute at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. His studies focused primarily on energy technologies and sustainable energy laws, regulations, and policies.
In the summer of 2015, Chase interned at Resilient Buildings Group (RBG), where he developed his knowledge of building energy usage. During his internship, he became well-versed in material life cycle analyses and building energy benchmarking. After graduating from CU Boulder, Chase returned to RBG as an Energy Analyst. His work involved energy modeling for new construction projects and conducting energy audits on existing buildings. He was instrumental in RBG energy audits, including projects such as Grey Towers Historic Site, Saco Ranger Station, and the City of Lebanon Town Hall and Public Library.
In 2020, Chase became Vice President of Operations at RBG, leading all operational aspects of the company. His leadership and vision contributed significantly to the growth and efficiency of the organization. Later, in January 2024, he advanced to the position of President. As President of RBG, Chase oversees the company’s strategic direction, spearheading initiatives in energy efficiency and program implementation. His commitment to innovation continues to drive RBG’s mission to create resilient and energy-efficient buildings across the state.
